- Palin and the republicans were shouting about death panels merely to stir the pot against Democrats. There are no politicians dumb enough to truly believe doctors are going to be killing patients in droves in a hospital setting.

- The republican party is the tool of the wealthy - google the Koch brothers - you will see they have spent $100 million over the last 30 years setting up conservative think tanks and are trying to totally disable government regulation. Easy to do if you have money coming in from oil.

- Edwardcj: You do realize of course that malpractice lawsuits add 1% to health care insurance costs, - but then I imagine that makes no difference to you - you will shill for the wealthy corporations no matter what.
